Collaborating for species conservation
During October, our partners at AMUS participated in the Wingspan conference in Brussels. This is a new biennial conference focused on a nature-positive energy transition. The conference showcased partnerships between electricity grid operators, renewables developers and operators, and environmental civil society – amongst which was the example of our project. This moment served to share data and lessons learnt from the project so far, and will hopefully inspire and inform future collaborations that balance energy development with biodiversity conservation.
