Couple's Carbon Zero Offset

Monthly Membership
A low-impact lifestyle
If you strive to live an environmentally conscious and low-impact lifestyle then the Couple's Carbon Zero Offset Membership is the next logical step for you.

How it works

We will offset your carbon footprint by planting wild native trees in conservation areas.

Each month you will be minimising your impact by living a carbon zero lifestyle, while restoring key ecosystems, building native woodlands and bringing true wilderness back to our landscape.

To ensure the ultimate level of transparency you will receive:

🌲 Photo & GPS coordinate for each tree
🌐 Seasonal 360° imagery of your area
📹 Regular updates on project progress
🗺️ An impact map with your trees

To guarantee the legitimacy of your carbon zero offset we replace all trees lost within the first 3 years, plant a 30% buffer and take yearly co2 sequestration measurements.

Calculating Your Carbon Footprint

We base our memberships on national averages. We think this is easier than asking you to dig out your old energy bills or petrol receipts for your car. These calculations are bound to fluctuate anyway.

We believe the most important thing is that you have a general notion as to how you compare to other individuals in your country. Do you fly more often than your friends and family? Do you actively work on reducing your footprint through your diet?

To learn more about our calculations as well as the sources, have a read through our carbon offsetting guide.

Where will your trees be planted?

What makes us different is that we work exclusively with conservation projects that genuinely need trees. We plant only native species, no invasives nor monocultures. What's more, we don't plant trees in partnership with forestry or logging businesses. This does not mean we are against forestry! It simply means that Mossy Earth trees are always planted in a rewilding or conservation projects where the trees are guaranteed to stay wild forever.

As part of your membership we will plant trees across all of our projects to give you a richer and broader insight into our reforestation efforts. You can learn all about these projects in the tree planting page

Also, if you really wish to know where your trees are planted, look up the GPS coordinates and pay them a visit! They'd love to see you!
